A 17-year-old Sicklerville boy has been arrested in connection with a shooting death of a 17-year-old Pleasantville boy.  The shooting occurred back on August 7th.

Atlantic County Prosecutor Jim McClain says police responded to a call at Max Manning Park, where they found a dead body in a field.

A three month investigation of the incident resulted in the arrest of the 17-year-old from Sicklerville Thursday morning.

The juvenile was arrested without incident at his Sicklerville school with the assistance of the Gloucester Township Police, and turned over to the custody of Major
Crimes and Pleasantville detectives, on charges  authorized by Atlantic County Prosecutor Jim McClain for murder, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and unlawful possession of a weapon. The juvenile was lodged in the Harborfields Juvenile Detention Center, Egg Harbor City.

The boy is scheduled to appear today in Atlantic County Superior Court - Juvenile Division.
