2 Arrested as EHT Police Quickly Sniff Out Missing Child Scam at Walmart

It didn't take Egg Harbor Township police very long to figure out that stories of a missing 8-year-old girl at a local Walmart weren't making a lot of sense.

After the store was "locked down" by employees searching for the missing girl, police were able to determine there was no missing girl - and the story was made up to cover the shoplifting exploits of a Little Egg Harbor mother and son.

Donna Hall, 58, and Nicholas Hall, 30, were both arrested on a number of charges. Full details are available on the Facebook page of Egg Harbor Township Police:
