Two south Jersey men are among four people accused of conspiring in counterfeit sports jerseys scheme that prosecutors say reached from China to the Wildwood boardwalk.

Federal agents arrested 32-year-old Brett Strothers of Egg Harbor Township and his 28-year-old brother, Evan, at their homes Tuesday.

Authorities also charged a U.S. citizen living in Thailand and an Indian citizen living in China.

Prosecutors allege the Strothers brothers purchased at least 16,700 counterfeit NBA and NFL jerseys from the defendant in Thailand, who got them from the defendant in China.

Customers tried to win the shirts by tossing basketballs or footballs at their boardwalk concessions in Wildwood and North Wildwood.

The brothers are slated to make an initial court appearance on Tuesday afternoon in Newark.
