21-Year-Old Man Killed in Galloway Township Accident

A two-car accident in Galloway Township Sunday morning has claimed the life of a local man.

Galloway Township Police say Ronnell T. Moore Jr., 21, of Pleasantville was killed as a result of the crash, reported at 6:20am Sunday.

From the crash report, here's how the accident happened:

A 2005 Chevrolet Malibu, being operated by Ronnell T. Moore Jr of Pleasantville, was traveling westbound on Aloe St, in the area of Bremen Ave. For an unknown reason, Moore’s vehicle left the roadway, crossed over to the eastbound lane and sideswiped a utility pole. Moore’s vehicle then swerved back towards the westbound lane. A 2016 Chevrolet Cruz, being operated by Michael A. Donati, traveling eastbound, swerved to avoid Moore’s vehicle, crossing over into the westbound lane. Both vehicles collided on the westbound shoulder of Aloe St. Morre was pronounce deceased on scene. Moore was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the accident.
