They called it "Operation Forefathers" - a several months investigation led by the Cape May and Atlantic County Prosecutors offices.

In the end, 30 people were arrested, 13 vehicles seized, along with 6,540 bags of heroin, 6 ounces of suspected methamphetamine, 2 ounces of suspected raw heroin, and numerous pounds of marijuana. In addition, authorities confiscated $30,000 in cash, 2 handguns and 1 shotgun. According to Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey Sutherland, the suspected heroin had a street value of $77,000 and the suspected methamphetamine had a street value of $16,000.

12 of those arrested were residents of Woodbine.
