A Middle Township man has been charged with stealing an ATM machine from a Cape May County diner back in May.

Between the night of May 26th and the morning of May 27th, someone cut the phone, cable, and internet lines to the Court House Diner on North Main Street in Cape May Court House. Police then say a person(s) broke into the diner and stole an ATM machine out of the lobby, which contained just over $4,000.

As the investigation continued, Middle Township Police say information was developed which lead to the arrest of 27-year-old Gregory Lazicki of Burleigh. Lazicki was charged with third-degree burglary and theft, plus fourth-degree criminal mischief. Lazicki was served on October 3rd at the Cape May County Correctional Facility where he was being held on unrelated charges.
