Sherwood Brown scored 24 points and Bernard Thompson added 23 as 15th seed Florida Gulf Coast beat No. 2 Georgetown 78-68. The Eagles are just the seventh No. 15 seed to beat a second seed, and the third in the last two tournaments.

FGCU took control with a 21-2 run that gave the Eagles a 52-33 lead with 12:28 to play. The Hoyas got within 72-68 with 52 seconds left before Florida Gulf Coast won in its second season of being eligible for Division I postseason

The No. 12 seeds finished 3-1 in the second round following Mississippi's win over Wisconsin Friday afternoon, just before No 13 seed La Salle played itself into the third round as well.

Ole Miss knocked off fifth seed Wisconsin 57-46, giving the Rebels their first tournament win since 2002. Marshall Henderson of Ole Miss shook out of a shooting slump and scored 17 of his 19 points in the second half.
