Accident Kills One, Injures One in Absecon

Absecon Police were on the scene of a fatal motor vehicle crash that occurred Saturday night on Route 30 near Delilah Road.

Absecon Police are investigating a crash where, according to a press release, a vehicle struck a center barrier, overturned, and came to rest on its roof. One of the occupants of the vehicle was ejected and due to his injuries was pronounced dead at the scene. The other occupant of the vehicle was treated and transported to Atlanticare Regional Medical Center- City Campus. White Horse Pike eastbound traffic was closed for approximately seven hours.
