Accident Leads to Heroin Arrest in Absecon
An accident Tuesday night in Absecon lead to two people being arrested on heroin charges.
Around 5:00 Tuesday evening, Absecon Police responded to a serious crash at the intersection of New Jersey and Haddon Avenues. An investigation found Rory Kebel and his stepfather, Andy Coyle, both of Hammonton, failed to stop at a stop sign and struck a car. The accident forced Kebel's car to hit a pole at the intersection.
During the investigation, officers found Kebel and Coyle to be in possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia and Kebel had a traffic warrant out of Hammonton for his arrest. Both were taken into custody at the scene.
