Aggravated Assault with Knife in Mays Landing

Early Tuesday morning, Hamilton Township Police responded to an assault with a knife in the Brandywine Condominium complex.

Tuesday morning, July 9th, at around 1:30, police responded to the Brandywood Condominium complex in reference to an assault with a knife. At the location the victim, Kirk Williams of Mays Landing had been assaulted by Kevin Hare of Mays Landing (pictured) during a physical altercation. During the altercation Williams suffered extensive injuries to his head and face. Hare fled the scene prior to police officers arriving.

Williams was taken to Atlantic City Medical Center Mainland Division for treatment. Hare was charged with Possession of a Weapon, Possession of a Weapon for Unlawful Purpose, and Aggravated Assault with a Weapon. The charges were placed on a warrant. Hare’s whereabouts is unknown at this time.
