We've certainly have had a rough stretch with oppressive heat and humidity during the dog days of August. I'm trying not to complain too much because before you know 'Old Man Winter' will be knocking on our door.

The Farmer's Almanac is out with their long range forecast for the winter of 2017. It looks like most of the snowfall, which will be above normal, will occur during mid-to-late January and early-to-mid February. Get ready to bundle up starting in late December right through mid February. The Farmer's Almanac is predicting some of the coldest temps of the winter during this time.

Remember, these are just predictions. So, let's enjoy the rest of the summer before we start stressing out over 'Old Man Winter'!
