Wawa is doubling down on their investment in Galloway with plans to open a second Super Wawa on the White Horse Pike.

According to Shore News Today, Wawa has been approved by the Galloway Planning Board to open a Super Wawa on Rt. 30 across from the Pomona Shopping Center, at the former location of Kennedy's Bar.

There is already a Super Wawa at Rt. 30 and Tilton Road in Galloway Township.

Galloway Deputy Mayor Tony Coppola told Shore News Today that Wawa is currently doing site work, and the new store could be open for business in less than three months.

The new Wawa location will be across from the the Heritage Village project, a commercial and residential complex to be built on the White Horse Pike, west of Pomona Road.
