MAYS LANDING - More than 1,000 bags of heroin, nearly four more loose grams, packaging items, and $800 in cash land two Atlantic City cousins behind bars after a raid on what investigators believe was a drug factory in a residence.

Yahshaun K. Williams, 20, was arrested without incident during the search. Ahmaad Williams, 23, surrendered the following day, according to the office of Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon G. Tyner.

Ahmaad Williams is charged with a first-degree count of maintaining and operating a controlled dangerous substance (CDS) production facility, second-degree charges of possession with intent to distribute within 500 feet of public park, possession of CDS in a public zone and conspiracy to maintain a production facility, and third-degree counts of possession, possession with intent to distribute, and conspiracy to distribute-possession with intent to distribute heroin.

Yahshaun Williams is charged with second-degree counts of possession with intent to distribute within 500 feet of a public park and conspiracy to maintain a production facility - possession of CDS in a public zone, third-degree counts of possession, possession with intent to distribute, hindering his own apprehension, hindering apprehension of another and conspiracy to distribute-possession with intent to distribute CDS, and a fourth-degree count of evidence tampering.

Information from the Prosecutor's office did not specify the street or address of the residence, or the park that formed the basis for several of the charges. Ahmaad Williams was moved to the Atlantic County Justice Facility, pending a detention hearing.

Investigations into activities inside the dwelling began in October of this year, by local police of Atlantic City, Brigantine, and Hamilton. The court-authorized warrant search was conducted by the Prosecutor's Gangs, Guns and Narcotics Unit, Atlantic County Regional SwAT team,

Authorities did not speculate regarding the size of the alleged operation, the area it covered, the amount of money it generated, or whether any other suspects have yet to be charged.

Charges are accusations. Defendants are presumed innocent unless, and until, found guilty in a court of law.
