Atlantic City Man Arrested for Burglarizing an Occupied Residence

An Atlantic City man is facing charges after police say he burglarized a home that was occupied at the time by a woman and her two small children.

The Atlantic City Police Department says officers responded to a home on the 900 block of Baltic Avenue just after 6:00 Monday morning after they received a report of a man trying to break into a residence. A 911 caller said the suspect, 28-year-old Muhsin Faulkner of Atlantic City, had gotten into the home before police arrived. An officer forced the front door of the home open and Faulkner emerged from the second floor. He was taken into custody without incident.

Faulkner is now facing burglary and criminal trespass charges and was remanded to the Atlantic County Justice Facility in Mays Landing.
