Atlantic City Police have arrested a man -- again -- on burglary charges.

Cops say 50-year-old James Mason of Atlantic City was taken into custody at his home in the 200 block of North New York Avenue on Friday. Mason faces charges stemming from a burglary at the Worship Surf Bar at Showboat on November 1st. Police say during that burglary, Mason stole cash and caused more than $5,000 in damage to store property.

Mason is no stranger to Police. This past September, Cops say Mason entered the Choice Bar and Grill and Zaffran Restaurant after hours on different dates and stole money and caused damage inside. During the investigation, results from fingerprint analysis were returned that identified Mason as the suspect in a burglary at Mango’s Restaurant on January 10. Detectives were able to obtain a fingerprint from a bottle of liquor that was sent to the New State Police crime lab for analysis.

For this latest arrest, Mason was charged with burglary, theft, and criminal mischief, and remanded to the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
