Atlantic City Man Arrested for Possession of Assult Rifle

Atlantic City police have arrested a man for possession of an assault rifle.

Tuesday afternoon, officers were on patrol on North Pennsylvania Avenue when they attempted to stop 26-year-old Andrew James. After a chase, he was arrested and now faces numerous charges, including possession of an assault weapon and possession of armor penetrating ammunition. James was remanded to the Atlantic County Jail in Mays Landing.
