An Atlantic City man is facing a list of charges after police allegedly found him to be in possession of over 3,300 bags of heroin.

According to a press release, ACPD detectives were looking into suspected drug distribution from a house in the 1300 block of Mediterranean Avenue on Wednesday. Cops say they observed 29-yhear-old Khalif Toombs of Atlantic City exiting a residence and taking part in numerous drug transactions. Detectives stopped Toombs as he began to drive away from the area. He was arrested and found in possession of 60 bags of heroin and just over $1,000 in cash.

Detectives obtained a search warrant for Toombs’s residence where they found another 3,310 bags of heroin with an estimated street value of more than $16,000.

Toombs has been charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS), possession with the intent to distribute, possession with the intent to distribute within 500 feet of a public zone, and possession with the intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school zone. Toombs was remanded to the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
