An Atlantic City man is facing a list of charges in connection to a shooting that happened in the city last month.

The ACPD says on the night of February 19th, officers responded to the 1700 block of Atlantic Avenue for a ShotSpotter alert. Cops were later advised that a victim, a 35-year-old man from Atlantic City, had walked into ARMC-City suffering from a gunshot wound.

On Wednesday, an investigation by the ACPD Violent Crimes Unit led to 30-year-old Cory Wilburn of Atlantic city being charged for shooting and wounding that man.

Wilburn, who was already being held at the Atlantic County Justice Facility on an unrelated matter, was charged with aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and certain person not to possess a weapon.
