A 30-year-old man from Atlantic City is facing a list of charges after police say he committed three armed robberies in the city.

Edgar Moreno Rios is now facing three counts each of robbery, unlawful possession of a weapon, and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.

On December 26th, officers responded to the AC Convenience Store in the 4000 block of Ventnor Avenue for a report of an armed robbery. A surveillance photograph was released to the public asking for assistance in identifying the individual.

Detectives have been actively investigating the robbery and, along with responses from the public, Rios was identified and arrested Wednesday night in the 2500 block of Pacific Avenue.

Rios has also been charged in the December 16th armed robbery of Minos Bakery in the 4100 block of Ventnor Avenue and the January 3rd armed robbery of Dover Market in the 3900 block of Ventnor Avenue.
