A 30-year-old man from Atlantic City was arrested Tuesday morning in connection with a shooting of another man in the city last month.

Officers from the Atlantic City Police Department along with the U.S. Marshalls Fugitive Unit located 30-year-old Rashaun Williams in the 1500 block of Caspian Avenue Tuesday morning. Williams was wanted in connection to the November 14th shooting of 37-year-old Darque Johnson in the Unit South Block of Florida Avenue. Johnson sustained serious bodily injury in the shooting. A sawed off shotgun believed to be used in the shooting was recovered during the initial stages of the investigation.

Johnson is now facing aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon, and possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose charges. Williams was additionally charged with Certain Persons not to Possess Weapons. Bail was set at $100,000 cash and Williams was remanded to the Atlantic County Justice Facility in Mays Landing.
