Atlantic City Police Investigating Male Shot in the Back

Around 10:30 Monday morning, Atlantic City Police responded to the 1300 block of Drexel Avenue in reference to a shooting victim.

Upon arrival, officers located 24-year-old Najee Roberts of Atlantic City with a gunshot wound to his back. Roberts was transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center Trauma Unit. As of Monday evening, Roberts was listed in critical condition.

No suspect information is available at this time.  Investigators went door to door looking for any witnesses to the shooting.
