Atlantic County Man Beaten With a Hatchet – Hear Wife’s Frantic 911 Call
Two men were arrested after they allegedly beat a man with blunt objects outside of his home in Mullica Township Wednesday morning.
WCAU-TV reports that Mullica Township Police say Randolf English, 42, of Dorchester, and Brian Kuhns, 26, of Leesburg, attacked a man outside his home on the 3700 block of Nesco Road shortly before 7 AM.
The suspects used a hatchet and a stick during the attack and then fled the area into the woods on foot, according to investigators.
The victim was taken to Atlanticare Hospital where he was treated for head and arm injuries.
Police eventually found English and Kuhns around 8:05 a.m. in the backyard of a nearby home, officials said.
Both men were taken into custody and charged with aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes, conspiracy and resisting arrest.
