AtlantiCare Gets Top 5 State Ranking in New Report

AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center has made the list of best hospitals in New Jersey for the second-straight year, according to a ranking released Tuesday by U.S. News & World Report.

The annual Best Hospitals report ranks AtlantiCare number five in New Jersey, saying its campuses in Atlantic City in Galloway...

"performed nearly at the level of nationally ranked U.S. News Best Hospitals in 3 adult specialties. AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center has 540 beds. The hospital had 30,327 admissions in the latest year for which data are available. It performed 6,478 annual inpatient and 4,189 outpatient surgeries. Its emergency room had 133,675 visits."

AtlantiCare also made the Best Hospitals in New Jersey list  in 2015, ranking fourth in the state and earning  a “high performing” ranking in two adult procedures - heart bypass surgery and heart failure.
