Eagles quarterback Sam Bradford and running back Ryan Mathews both were listed as out for Sunday's game when the Eagles host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday.

Bradford was in the second stage of the league's five-step concussion protocol and is also dealing with a sprained AC joint in his non-throwing shoulder. Mathews is still in the league's protocol and hasn't come close to practicing since the injury. Eagles head coach Chip Kelly discussed what the Eagles will be missing with Mathews unable to play.

"A running back that we'd use on kind of the same basis as [RB] DeMarco [Murray] in terms of getting them both in the game; not worrying about who is in there," Kelly explained.

"You still have that tough, big, hard-nosed, physical running back. The other two running backs are obviously [RB Darren Sproles] Sprolesy, who is a different type of running back."

With Mathews unable to play Sunday, Kenjon Barner would likely be active as a No. 3 running back. Barner dazzled in the preseason with two punt return touchdowns.

Peters Questionable

Eagles left tackle Jason Peters didn't practice on Friday and is listed as questionable for Week 11 against the Buccaneers and will likely be a game-time decision. His injury status has been somewhat of a mystery this week - Kelly indicated Thursday that Peters would not practice, but he ended up practicing in a limited fashion during Thursday's practice.

Lane Johnson would fill in at left tackle if Peters has missed the game, Dennis Kelly would remain at right tackle.
