Cape May County Braves the Elements of Being Homeless

Over the weekend, Family Promise of Cape May County hosted another Cardboard Box City event where South Jersey residents braved the elements and experienced what it is like to be homeless.

The camp out-style event featured many decorated cardboard boxes in the hopes of raising awareness and money for children and families who are battling being homeless in South Jersey. Thankfully, the weather seemed lovely, the soup kitchen line went smoothly, and everyone paid their rent on time. In which case, Cardboard Box City 2018 was a success.
