    Looking for something to keep your kiddos busy this summer? They can get hands on with the Center for Arts Youth Arts Program! Located at 717 Franklin Street, kids of all ages can partake in arts & craft activities all summer long!

    At Art Block, 507 Washington Street, Suite #108 (Liberty Way), kids can make their own unique projects, and bring their creations to life.

    Lions, Tigers & Bears - Oh My!

    This one isn't just for kids, people of all ages can enjoy the animals and activies at the Cape May County Zoo! Even if you've been to the zoo before, this year it's better than ever with some awesome new additions! Not to mention they also have the new(ish) Tree to Tree Adventure, that will have you climbing and zipping through the trees!

    Whale Watching

    If you’re more of an observing type of person, and want to see all that Cape May has to offer from off shore, you can partake in Whale Watching, which is one of Cape May’s top attractions within the county!

    Cape May Lighthouse

    Christmas in July on July 25th from 11 AM - 3 PM - Here you can enjoy some food, and hear some great music as you enjoy some of their festivities.

    Family Fun Days at the Lighthouse on Weds. July 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th & August 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, and 30th from 9 AM -2 PM. Your children here will not only get a chance to make some crafts here, but they can also have some fun while enjoying the entertainment.

    Lighthouse Story Time on Saturday May 27th- September 2nd at 12:30 PM with FREE Admission. While enjoying the lighthouse children can hear all about tales within the lighthouse while enjoying each other’s company.

    The Keeper’s On Duty on Saturday May 27th- September 2nd at 1:15 PM with FREE admission. Here Children will learn all about being a Lighthouse Keeper and what it takes to be one.

    National Lighthouse Day on August 7th from 9 AM - 2 PM, 8$ for adults, $5 for children (3-12). All activities in which take place at the lighthouse at, 215 LIGHTHOUSE AVE. in Cape May Point State Park. Children will be able to make some new friends, make their own crafts, and get a chance to pay for admission to even climb the lighthouse.

    Step Back in Time

    Located at Sunset Blvd, this piece of American history is actually the last remaining WWII tower in the state! It was built in 1942 and played a huge role in the coastal defenses of the war.

    If you’re an active or retired military official with valid ID you can explore the World War II Lookout Tower for $3, other adults are $6, one free child with paying adult, $3 for any additional children, between 11 AM -3 PM. Oh, and there's free parking!

    Festivals Galore!

    If you always wanted to visit the beautiful Emlen Physick Estate in Cape May, you'll want to come out to the Cape May Craft Beer and Crab Festival on Saturday, August 5th from 10 AM - 6 PM, located at 1048 Washington Street. Here you can explore the grounds, plus get a taste of some different flavored crabs, and fresh beer!

    Admission is free, but there will be a charge for the food, beverages and some of the festival activities.

    Earlier in the summer, at the same location, you can also enjoy some good old barbecue as you listen to the Blues! June 24th will be the Cape May Hops Festival- Blues, Brews, & Barbecue from 10 AM - 6 PM.

    Take a Ride on the "Wild Side"

    Besides the gorgeous coastline, Cape May is also known for it's superb bird watching! Come along with Cape May Bird Observatory naturalists on the Wild Side Trolley Tour as you learn about local birds, geography, and the immense history of the area. 

    Open daily from 8:30 AM - 10:30 AM, tickets are $20 for adults, $5 for children (3-12).

    A'Hoy Matey!

    Cape May's Breakfast with Pirates is a unique and fun way spend the day with your family! Dress up as a pirate, and enjoy some delicious food all the while listening to old tales.

    The event takes place on July 5th and 19th, August 2nd, and 16th at 9:30 AM. Tickets are $18 per person and you'll want to make a reservation.
