The scene unfolded just after 10:00 Wednesday night when cops responded to the Black Horse Pike at Hamilton Commons Drive for the report of a hit and run crash. Cops say 19-year-old John Weber IV from Mays Landing was driving a motorcycle when he was rear-ended by an unknown vehicle. The impact threw Weber off his bike and he sustained non-life threatening injuries; he was taken to ARMC-Mainland for treatment.

Cops say the car, described as a possibly white or gold-colored sedan with severe front-end damage from the impact, fled the scene traveling eastbound on the Pike with the motorcycle still attached to the front of the car. Officers later found the bike at McKee Avenue and Club House Lane.

Anyone who may have witnessed the accident -- or saw a car driving with a motorcycle stuck to it -- Wednesday night is asked to contact Hamilton Township Police at 609-625-2700.
