Judge Albert Garofolo has dismissed official misconduct charges against former Wildwood Mayor Gary DeMarzo.

This is the second time Judge Garofolo has dismissed charges against the former cop-turned-mayor accused of using city money to pay personal legal fees.

The Press of Atlantic City published the details this morning. Among the reasoning for the dismissal of charges, as was the case the first time around, sketchy evidence.

The first indictment, handed up by a grand jury in March 2011, was dismissed after Judge Garofolo found that various pieces of evidence were not presented to the grand jury.
