Chris Christie’s Official Portrait Has Been Unveiled

Earlier this year we found out that Chris Christie's official portrait would be painted by Australian artist Paul Newton.

We also found out that Christie's portrait would cost taxpayers $85,000, more than the cominbed $74,500 spent by New Jersey's previous three governors Jon Corzine, Richard Codey, and Jim McGreevey.

I know it's a tired joke at this point, but how glorious would it have been to drop the curtain and reveal a beautifully painted depiction of Chris Christie in a beach chair?
