Following numerous complaints from area residents, police conducted a walk-through of an Atlantic City hotel last weekend and arrested two people.

According to a press release, during the early morning hours of last Saturday, officers conducted a walk-through of the Fox Manor Hotel at 2707 Pacific Avenue in response to numerous citizen complaints regarding the distribution of narcotics. Officer Daniel Arra along with other officers knocked on a door to one of the units in the motel. The door was opened by David Roary who saw the uniformed officers standing in the hallway. Roary immediately attempted to slam the door on the officers. The closing door pinned Officer Arra’s hand in the doorway. Officers were able to open the door, freeing Officer Arra and took Roary into custody. Officers located another male, Cyril Roary, in the unit as well as a loaded handgun and cocaine.  Cyril Roary was also taken into custody.

 

32-year-old David Roary and 23-year-old Cyril Roary, both of Atlantic City, were arrested and face various and numerous charges. Both were remanded to the Atlantic County Justice Facility with bail set at $100,000.
