WEST GOSHEN, PA - A Pennsylvania police department is searching for a woman who they believe stole more than $3,000 in bagged Wawa coffee from convenience stores in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware and Maryland.

According to the West Goshen Township Police Department, analysts from Wawa estimate that there have been about 40 to 50 thefts in all. Police said in a statement that the thefts were likely committed by a single female suspect who has managed to remove more than $3,000 in bags of coffee since earlier this year.

"The female will walk in to one store and steal numerous bags of coffee from the coffee island. She will then drive a short distance and return them to another store for cash," West Goshen police said in a statement on Facebook.

Many of the thefts have been captured on Wawa store surveillance cameras, police said. In some of the videos, the female is wearing medical "scrubs" and authorities think she may be a traveling healthcare worker.

"Store surveillance footage has captured at least two different vehicles being operated by the female. A silver smaller sedan and a maroon sport utility vehicle," police said.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact the West Goshen Township Police Department.
