MT. LAUREL — The morning commute got off to a slow start on the New Jersey Turnpike for the second workday in a row on the New Jersey Turnpike.

The driver of the truck suffered minor injuries, according to police, which said it was not known how long it would take to clear the incident.

As of 7 a.m. two lanes were blocked and traffic creating a multi-mile delay. Delays can be avoided by getting off at Route 73 and heading west to I-295 north.

Drivers can get off I-295 at Exit 47A at Burlington-Mt. Holly Road and get back onto the Turnpike.

The truck overturned in front of the Mt. Laurel Road overpass which was struck by a southbound tractor trailer early Friday. A 16-year-old girl who was a passenger in the truck was seriously injured, according to State Police.
