Hamilton Township Police say a teenager with an "extensive criminal history" has been arrested for allegedly stealing a car Wednesday morning.

Cops say they responded to a home on Rundle Avenue in Mays Landing around 6:00 Wednesday morning for the report of a stolen vehicle. Later that morning, officers received the report of two suspicious people walking in the center of town. Officers responded to the area and identified one of the subjects as 18-year-old Isaiah Gray of Mays Landing. Gray was found to have an outstanding warrant and taken into custody. The other male was released.

According to a press release, a search of Gray yielded a small amount of marijuana and the key to the vehicle that was stolen from Rundle Avenue. At the station, Gray provided a recorded confession to stealing the vehicle in question. He was charged with burglary and theft and transported to the Atlantic County Justice Facility.

Isaiah Gray has an extensive criminal history, including multiple burglaries and thefts, and was recently released from the Atlantic County Justice Facility on an unrelated warrant.
