Egg Harbor City Man Facing Lewdness, Child Endangerment Charges

A man from Egg Harbor City is in trouble with the law after he allegedly performed a lewd act in front of a 1-year-old and 5-month old child.

Hamilton Township Police say 49-year-old Alexsander Morales was babysitting two children on January 15th. When the children's parents returned home, they checked their video surveillance system to find a missing cell phone. While checking the video, they observed Morales, who is a family member, performing lewd acts in front of both children.

Morales was arrested on January 23rd and charged with lewdness and endangering the welfare of a child. Morales was interviewed and lodged in the Atlantic County Justice facility.
