Egg Harbor Township Police Asking For Public’s Help Identifying Armed Robbery Suspect

The Egg Harbor Township Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect that committed an armed robbery at the Country Farms store on Tilton Road.

This past Sunday morning, August 18th, just before 5:30 AM, the Egg Harbor Township Police Department responded to the Country Farms Store on Tilton Road, in the Farmington section of the township, in reference to a robbery. A responding officer made contact with the victim/employee who stated the suspect entered the store, approached the counter, brandished a handgun, and demanded the money in the register. An undetermined amount of cash was turned over by the clerk and the suspect then fled the area on foot.

The suspect is described as a black male, 5’10” to 6’ in height, with a heavy build and a medium complexion. He was last seen wearing a turquoise hooded sweat shirt, black shorts, white socks and black sneakers.
