Egg Harbor Township Police Searching For Purse Thieves

Egg Harbor Township Police are asking for your help in identifying two men involved in the theft of a purse inside a local grocery store.

The incident took place on July 23rd at the ShopRite in the English Creek Shopping Center in Egg Harbor Township.

The suspects approached a female victim in the check-out line. One suspect distracted the victim while the other removed her purse from the shopping cart. The suspects fled the store and it is unknown if they had a vehicle.

The suspects, which are depicted in the photo, are white males in their 20’s, thin to medium builds and between 5’6” to 5’8” in height. The suspect in the red shirt had a goatee and a tattoo on his left forearm. The suspect in the black shirt had no distinct characteristics.
