Officers say just after midnight Thursday, they responded to the Conoco gas station on the Black Horse Pike in West Atlantic City for the report of an armed robbery. The victim, who was working at the time, 57-year-old Younis Perves, told officers a person forced his way inside the attendants booth, brandished a handgun, and demanded the money. Perves was not injured in the incident.

Police describe the suspect as a heavy set white male, possibly with a beard, wearing light colored pants, a dark jacket, and a dark hooded sweatshirt. They say he fled on foot heading west along the Black Horse Pike.
