A fascinating video has surfaced featuring film shot in Atlantic City in 1928, complete with sound, making it one of the earliest pieces of film with sound to exist anywhere.

The film, posted to YouTube under the account "guy jones," shows people walking up and down the Atlantic City Boardwalk. The sound is rough, but it is there. It appears the camera, at times, might have been held by someone riding a rolling chair (or mounted on a rolling chair).

Did you know so many women wore fur coats in 1928?
