For the 33rd drawing in a row no one has won the Mega Millions jackpot which pushes its annuity value to $449 million ($313 million cash) for the next drawing on Tuesday.

No ticket matched all six numbers drawn Friday night – 20, 41, 42, 45 and 49 with a Mega Ball of 14. No one was won the jackpot since the drawing of March 8. Tuesday's jackpot will be the third highest ever offered by the multi-state game.

Since New Jersey began selling Mega Millions tickets in 2002, 20 winning tickets have been sold in New Jersey. The winnings have  ranged from a $10 million pot won in 2004 by Frank Zielinski and sons of Staten Island and Cherry Hill, to the $390 million jackpot won in 2007 by CElaine and Harold Messner of Woodbine.

More recently, six New Jersey players have won $1 million for matching five numbers since March. The latest winner was Holland Tunnel toll taker Irma D of Hudson County.

“I am going to put my son through college and make sure my Mom and Dad, sisters, Grandma and nieces are taken care of," she told the lottery.

The Powerball jackpot is also creeping upwards, as well, with an estimated annuity jackpot of $243 million with a cash value of $165 million.
