Fire Inside Hamilton Mall Out
An early moring fire at the Hamilton Mall's Hollister store has been extinguished and the mall will be open normal hours today.
The Atlantic County Fire Marshal tells WMGM TV the fire broke out around 6:30AM and was put out quickly. Emergency crews used exhaust fans to vent the store and other areas of the mall using exhaust fans.
WCAU TV reports the fire started in a cash register which tripped the store's sprinkler system.
The fire created thick black smoke inside the mall before firefighters brought it under control.
