Attention all astronomy lovers and stargazers: a full strawberry mini moon will light up the skies over South Jersey this Friday.

According to NJ.com, the strawberry "mini-moon' that will rise this Friday will be the smallest looking moon of the year, which is why it's being called a "mini-moon". This will also be the last full moon of the spring since the summer solstice will be here in a few weeks.

Earth Sky.org says the best time time see the mini moon shine its brightest will be before dawn on Friday. The near full moon will also rise after sunset this Thursday night around 8:25 PM.
