Galloway Township Police are asking for your help identifying the man seen in a surveillance video attempting to start a fire at police headquarters at about 6:30 Tuesday evening, December 12.

The police video shows a man attempting to light the contents of a bottle outside of police headquarters and then throwing the bottle at the building. The bottle was found to be filled with an accelerant.

The bottle did not ignite.

Several police officers were in the lobby at the time of the attempted attack, according to police.. No injuries were reported.

The man was seen running toward Jimmie Leeds Road. He is described as a white man in his mid- to late 20s, about 5 feet, 7 inches tall, with brown or red facial hair. He was wearing a brown or tan jacket with a checkered pattern, a gray hooded sweatshirt and dark pants.
