Having recently suspended his own bid for the Oval Office, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie has officially backed Donald Trump to be the next President of the United States.

Christie made an appearance in Fort Worth, Texas, today to proclaim his endorsement, as Trump looked on.

Of Trump, Christie said, "We don't need any more of these Washington, D.C., acts.", and that he's proud to stand in Donald's corner. Could this be a strategic move by Christie to earn a place in Trump's cabinet if he is indeed elected?

Christie's seal of approval comes on the heels of last night's Republican Presidential Debate on CNN, where hopeful Mark Rubio, long criticized by the N.J. Governor, began to attack Trump's business background to his lack of readiness to lead the country. Today, Rubio continued his assault, calling Trump "a con artist", 6abc.com reports.
