For the second time in less than a week, cops in Hamilton Township are investigating an armed home invasion involving three men.

Hamilton Township Police say around 2:00 Friday morning, officers responded to the Cologne Garden Apartments for the report of an armed home invasion. According to a press release, the victim reported three men forced their way into an apartment through a back door. The suspects ransacked the residence and stole various items. At least two of the suspects were seen with handguns.

The victim described the suspects:

  • Tall black male, approximately 6’ 2”, muscular build, wearing all black clothing, including a black hoodie and a ski mask
  • Short black male, medium build, wearing all black clothing including a black hoodie, wool ski cap, and his face was covered from the nose down.
  • Black male wearing all black clothing.

The victim was assaulted but did not require medical attention.

Meanhwile, officers continue to investigate another armed home invasion that happened last Saturday. In that case, the homeowner said three black males, armed with handguns with their faces covered and wearing hoodies, entered her home and stole property. The suspects gained entry into the home by forcing open a back door.
