Congratulations to Ventnor native and former Holy Spirit High School catcher Rob Boselli on being taken on Day 3 of the MLB Draft.

Boselli was taken in the 37th round by the Cincinnati Reds.

Boselli is a Holy Spirit High School grad who just finished his senior season for the Red Storm, hitting .285 with four home runs and 39 RBI.

He was a four-year letter winner for the Spartans, before heading to Mercer County Community College, where he was a first team all-region 19 and first team Garden State Athletic Conference selection in both his freshman and sophomore years, leading Mercer to a JUCO World Series appearance as a sophomore.
