I don't know about you, but one of my favorites show is 'Veep', starring Seinfeld alum Julia Louis-Dreyfus. The HBO powerhouse is no stranger to Emmy wins, with Louis-Dreyfus winning her sixth consecutive for Outstanding Lead Actress. However, did you know that a Northfield native also scored big for 'Veep'?

Congratulations to Kimberly Wannop for winning the Emmy for Production Design in a Narrative Program at the 69th Emmy Awards, according to The Press of Atlantic City. Wannop, who grew up in Northfield and graduated from Holy Spirit, won the Emmy for designing sets for HBO's 'Veep'. Also, fun fact, an amazing 152 sets had to be designed for the current season of the show!

The talented designer also created sets for 'Wheel of Fortune' , 'Brooklyn 99', 'Bones', and 'Parks and Recreation'.  I love to watch 'Veep', and I'll be sorry to see it end, as the show plans to wrap up after the next season. Either way, this is certainly something to be proud of! Way to go Kimberly on your big Emmy win!
