The Atlantic City Democratic Committee never received a $10,000 donation from the Atlantic County Democratic Committee; Atlantic City Mayor Frank Gilliam, Jr., appears to have deposited it directly into his own campaign account.

In an explosive allegation that could have major implications, in a "Hurley in the Morning" / WPG Talk Radio 104.1 exclusive, I have confirmed that on October 12, 2017, the Atlantic County Democratic Committee wrote a check in the amount of $ 10,000, made payable to (written exactly as) Atlantic City Dem. Comm.

I have obtained a copy of the negotiated check, both the back and front.

Atlantic City Democratic Committee Member Durwood Pinkett has confirmed to me - both on and off-air - that the Atlantic City Democratic Committee never received the $10,000 check.

Multiple sources, including Pinkett, have confirmed exclusively to me that Atlantic County Democratic Party Chairman Mike Suleiman has confirmed that he gave the $10,000 check directly to Atlantic City Mayor Frank Gilliam, Jr.

There appears to be no doubt whatsoever that Suleiman believed that when he gave the $10,000 check to Gilliam, that it would ultimately make its way to the Atlantic City Democratic Committee as intended.

I have followed the lead of multiple well placed sources and a paper trail, which appears to lead directly to Gilliam. The signature on the back of the $10,000 check appears to read, "Frank M. Gilliam, Jr."

Multiple sources have confirmed to me that Gilliam deposited the $10,000 directly into his campaign account.

The Atlantic City Democratic Committee first became aware of the $10,000 check at last week's regular meeting. They were attempting to reconcile their finances and preparing to cast a membership vote on the matter.

It turned out to be a very heated meeting, whereby it has been conveyed to me that an Atlantic County Board of Elections Member is said to have shouted a profanity at Stephanine Dixon and abruptly left the meeting.

As the Atlantic City Democratic Committee proceeded to dig deeper, they learned that the Atlantic County Democratic Committee had allegedly given them a $10,000 contribution, which they had never received.

The Atlantic City Democratic Committee investigated further and learned that Gilliam had received a contribution of $37,000 from the Atlantic County Democratic Committee. Additionally, they discovered that Gilliam had reported an additional $10,000 from the Atlantic County Democratic Committee.

The Atlantic City Democratic Committee continued its research and obtained a copy of the negotiated $10,000 check. It was then that they discovered that it appears that Gilliam had taken ownership of the check for himself and deposited into his own campaign account.

Multiple sources have confirmed to Harry Hurley that there are additional checks (unrelated to the Atlantic City Democratic Committee and this $10,000 check) which were made payable to another party that allegedly were intercepted by Gilliam and deposited into his campaign account.
