Little Egg Harbor Official Charged with Child Porn

A Little Egg Harbor township official has been arrested for allegedly possessing child pornography on his computer.

Issat Farat (aka Joseph) Yusif, 84, of Little Egg Harbor was arrested after an examination by the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office High Tech Crime Unit found several hundred images of adults engaged in sexual acts with pre-pubescent children on a computer in his Kansas Avenue home. The arrest comes following an investigation by Stafford Township Police and Little Egg Harbor Police.

He was charged with third-degree possession of child pornography and is being held on $50,000 bail in the Ocean County Jail.

Yusif was appointed as vice chairman of the board of adjustment for Little Egg Harbor Township in January.
