Little Egg Harbor Township Police K-9 Passes Away

A sad story out of Little Egg Harbor as police K-9 Tag has passed away.

After 13 years of service, K-9 Tag passed away in the arms of his handler, Little Egg Harbor Twp. Police Officer Tonya Anderson.

Anderson shared her story on the Little Egg Harbor Township Police Facebook page.

Tag had retired from duty last July. He first became ill and collapsed 10 days ago, according to Anderson. "He unfortunately died in my arms at home as I was attempting to load him up and take him back to the vet. He was truly an amazing partner and will never be forgotten."
