Longtime WPG Talk Show Host Champ Hoffman Has Passed Away

Long-time WPG Talk Radio 104.1 FM & 1450 AM weekend talk show host Louis "Champ" Hoffman has passed away following a courageous battle with cancer.

Champ was beloved by thousands of radio listeners and he took great pride in being the "King of Trivia" and prize giveaways.

Champ loved to spoil his listeners and award them with various on-air giveaways.

I had the privilege of working with Champ for more than 20 years on-air. He loved talk radio at such a profound and passionate level.

There will be a service for Champ this Wednesday, October 19th, at 11AM at The Roth - Goldsteins' Memorial Chapel and Funeral Home at 116 Pacific Avenue (New Hampshire Avenue) in Atlantic City.

Champ was married to Rochelle for 37 years. They were an inseparable team. Champ was also such a proud Father and Grand Father.

Earlier in his life, Champ was a successful restaurant owner and operator.
